Caring Collective Belleville Project

I want to pass along an initiative that one of my students has been doing since the start of the pandemic.
I proposed to my students to try to leave a mark of kindness through a Kindness Rocks project.  Some painted rocks and left positive messages around their community.  I have one student and her sister who have taken the task to a new level.
They were concerned about how lonely seniors in long term care and retirement homes must be, especially with not being able to have any visits with their family during this isolation.  So, they created a virtual pen pal project.  They are in contact with many nursing and retirement homes in the area and after the first wave of letters that have gone out (50 so far), nursing homes from Port Hope, Tweed and other farther locations have also reached out.
They are looking for help from other students to help in writing letters.  Attached are two documents.  The first one outlines what the project is about.  The second document gives some scaffolding for writing a letter.
